Rental terms and conditions
Please understand and accept these terms and conditions before booking
Prices shown
- The prices displayed on the website include the usage of electricity and water. They do not include the final cleaning, optional additional cleaning (16,20 € / hour), optional rental of linen and towels, bath mats and tea towels (€ 19,50 per person). On the booking form you can indicate whether you require the optional fresh linen, towels, bath mats and tea towels. The additional cleaning has to be requested at our offices.
Booking
- To reserve the accommodation you are required to pay 40% of the total rent within 7 days of making the booking. If 40% of the total booking is not received by the agency within 7 days then the reservation is automatically cancelled. The remaining 60% is paid upon arrival by cash, Visa or Mastercard. Under no circumstances can the property be occupied if the full rental and security deposit have not been paid.
Security Deposit
- Upon arrival and together with the second payment, an amount of € 250 will be blocked on your credit card as security deposit. If the property has been left in the condition it was found, the amount will be released on the first Tuesday after your departure.
Admission to the accommodation
- Admission to the accommodation is between 5 and 8 pm. In case you cannot arrive before 8 pm please contact the agency to arrange for the collection of keys.
Departures
- Departure is before 10 am. It is important to observe this timing for the coordination of cleaning.
Changes to Booking
- The agency reserves the right to substitute an accommodation for another similar or better if, through no fault of the agency, the chosen property cannot be occupied. This condition applies only in extreme cases such as fire, partial collapse or similar.
Cancellations
- You can take out cancellation insurance by clicking HERE. The agency will not under any circumstances reimburse the 40% received for reserving the property.
Occupants of accommodation
- The person making the reservation is required to submit details of all the persons occupying the dwelling. The house cannot be occupied by more people than indicated on the website. In case of higher occupancy the agency will refuse admission of those exceeding the maximum occupancy stated, cancel the reservation or vacate the house. Upon arrival the agency staff will request the names, number of passport or ID card and date of birth of each occupant of the property. This in accordance with IRP/418/2010 order of 5 August 2010, in force since 1 October 2010, on the obligation of recording and reporting to the Directorate General of Police of the people staying in accommodation located in Catalonia. For this reason please have all passports available when arriving at the agency.
Pets
- Pets are strictly prohibited from the holiday accommodation. If this rule is not adhered to the € 250 deposit will not be returned and you may be required to vacate the property immediately.
Damages and defects
- If you should find a defect or irregularity in the property please advise the agency as soon as possible. If the agency is not informed of the defect, it will be attributed to you on the day of departure. Please note that the house will be thoroughly inspected by the agency staff. In case of any damage please notify the agency as soon as possible so that the problem can be solved, do not wait until the last day.
Leaving the accommodation upon departure
- Do not clean the apartment but please leave it ordered and tidy. Make sure you have closed all doors and windows to the outside before coming to the office to hand over the keys. You are responsible for getting rid of all rubbish. In case of leaving rubbish behind € 50 will be deducted from the deposit.
